To answer a question no body asked. Here is the engine bay of a 2015 Mazda 3

Looks rather nice I'd say, but what's with the two holes in the plastic shroud?

Thanks. Dipstick for oil on left. Filler cap on right.

It doesn't look it's going to be easy to put a strut bar in there.

Ahh, that's a rather smart solution then, I guess it makes it so you don't spill oil and such?

When I looked on my phone I said "WTF is that blue dot?" and then I zoomed in.

Maybe? I haven't done the oil myself yet (still under warranty) but I have checked it. Every other car I've had the dip stick was off to the side.

I had the same thoughts. It's weird because they're angled back a little. I guess it's for safety by directing the force back and up instead of just being perpendicular to head on force and not doing anything.
It handles pretty well. I'll get some grippier tires when these are dead.

It doesn't look as colorful as before.

no need struttowers are most likely up against the firewall reducing deflection anyhow! Also caster, angling back the struts allows for better absorption of bumps, and a higher spring rate at the same time.

I miss the sharp blue engine cover that's on my 2013 model.

They ditched the blue in the headlights and skyactive badge on the back too

Bah! I can deal with the badge, but no blue chrome tint on the headlights? That was fucking awesome.
